Create a Team Event Type and Link It to a Team
Set up one shared event type for a team, then assign the team so all members can use it.

Team event types are created from the Team Event Types area and linked to teams during setup.
- Go to Colleagues → Team Event Types.
- Click New Team Event Type.
- Complete the core details:
- Name
- Duration (minutes)
- Booking increment
- Description (optional)
- Choose the Location type:
- In person / Phone (with a fixed location field), or
- Attendee selects (and choose which location options attendees can pick).
- In Team Settings, choose the Booking Assignment Strategy:
- Round robin
- Default assignee (then select the default team member)
- Visitor select
- In Assign to Teams, tick one or more teams.
- (Optional) Enable Team members can set their own availability if each member should control their own hours for this event type.
- Click Create Team Event Type.
After saving, you will see it in the Team-Wide Event Types list with linked teams shown in the Team Members column.
Updating team links later:
Open the event type from Team Event Types and click Edit to change the teams in Assign to Teams, then save.
Note: If no teams appear to select, create teams first in the Teams section.
