How to Turn SEO and PPC Traffic Into More Booked Sales Meetings
18 Aug 2026 ยท by Peter Grillet
I spoke with Riccardo Montis, founder of London growth marketing agency Dealshake, about what actually helps SEO and PPC traffic turn into sales meetings. His advice was refreshingly practical: keep the page focused, show proof, make the booking step obvious, and remove unnecessary friction between interest and a booked discovery call.
Start with one page, one topic, one action
- Is this about the problem I have?
- Do I trust this company enough to keep reading?
- Is there a clear reason to book a call?
- Can I book without friction?
Proof needs to be close to the booking decision
- One short video testimonial.
- Two or three concrete client outcomes.
- A short explanation of who the result was for.
- A direct booking button near the proof.
The booking button should go straight to the meeting
Use an embeddable booking system when the page is doing the selling
Keep the booking form short
- What are you hoping to improve?
- Which channel are you focused on?
- How soon are you looking to make a decision?
- How many seats, users, clients, or locations are involved?
Match the booking flow to the sales team behind it
- If several reps can handle the same discovery call, use round robin scheduling so meetings do not all default to one person.
- If larger opportunities need a founder or specialist on the call, use multi-host booking so the prospect only sees times when the required people are available.
- If different landing pages target different services, create different event types so the calendar invite makes the meeting purpose clear.
- If prospects come from SEO, PPC, LinkedIn, or partner campaigns, use booking reports and attribution where available so you can see which sources are creating meetings.
Google Calendar integration matters because availability must be trusted
Test quickly, but test the whole path
- Does the page answer one clear search intent?
- Is the proof relevant to that visitor?
- Is the booking CTA visible before the reader loses interest?
- Does the booking page ask only what is needed?
- Can the team see whether the page is producing meetings?
- Does the page match the ad promise?
- Is there one main action?
- Are the testimonials and results close to the CTA?
- Can the visitor book immediately?
- Can you compare bookings, cancellations, and reschedules from that campaign?
The booking step is part of the marketing funnel

Booking Reports for Sales Leads and Practice Managers
When several people are sharing booking pages, the calendar stops answering the operational questions leaders actually care about. This article explains how sales leads and practice managers can use booking reports to review meeting volume, cancellations, reschedules, team member load, event type performance, and campaign attribution.
How to Qualify and Route Demo Requests by Seat Count
When every website visitor books through the same demo link, small accounts, good-fit prospects, and larger sales opportunities all land in the same calendar flow. This article explains how sales leads can use qualifying forms to route prospects by seat count before they book.
How to Build a Basic Sales Funnel & Get Clients
If you are starting a one-person business, you do not need a complicated sales system. You need a simple place to track prospects, clear stages for moving people forward, and booking pages that make the next conversation easy to schedule.
Why Calendr
Appointment Scheduling Software for Client-Facing Teams: A Calendr.so Overview
If your team books sales calls, onboarding sessions, support reviews, legal appointments, or client consultations, a basic booking link can start to create more admin than it removes. This video walkthrough shows how calendr.so helps client-facing teams control meeting types, find the right colleague's link, coordinate multi-person meetings, and report on booking activity without turning scheduling into another spreadsheet.
Why Growing Teams Need More Than Free Booking Tools
Free booking tools are useful when one person needs a simple link. They start to fall short when an office manager, admin, team leader, or practice manager needs consistent event types, team reporting, qualifying forms, searchable colleague links, and multi-host meetings that match how the business actually works.
Send Booking Links by SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp
Not every appointment starts in email. If a client, prospect, candidate, or customer is already messaging you by SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp, sending the right calendr.so booking link can make the next step much easier, especially if you save your most-used links as text replacement shortcuts.
Built for teams that need more than a booking link
calendr helps customer-facing teams move faster with team-first scheduling, multi-host bookings, and smarter availability controls.
